- Gydytojo psichiatro, konsultacijos, gydymas, kompensuojamų ir nekompensuojamų vaistų išrašymas.
- Gydytojo vaikų ir paauglių psichiatro konsultacijos, gydymas, kompensuojamų ir nekompensuojamų vaistų išrašymas, šeimos konsultavimas.
- Psichologo, ištyrimas, individualios konsultacijos, šeimos konsultacijos.
- Nukreipimas reabilitaciniam gydymui pagal indikacijas.
- Nukreipimas darbingumo, neįgalumo lygio, specialiosios nuolatinės priežiūros poreikių nustatymui į neįgalumo ir darbingumo nustatymo tarnybos (NDNT) prie socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministerijos teritorinį skyrių pagal indikacijas.
- Nukreipimas stacionariniam gydymui pagal indikacijas, sutinkant pacientui ar jo globėjui.
- Būtinosios medicininės pagalbos teikimas pagal Sveikatos apsaugos ministro patvirtintas indikacijas.
- Nukreipimas ambulatorinėms gydytojo psichiatro, vaikų ir paauglių psichiatro konsultacijoms į antrinio ar tretinio lygio ambulatorines psichiatrijos įstaigas, esant diagnostikos, gydymo problemoms ar pacientui pačiam prašant.
- Pagalbą dvasinės krizės ištiktiems asmenims, gręsiant savižudybei ar po mėginimo nusižudyti.
- Kartu su socialinės globos ir rūpybos organizacijomis teikia asmenims, turintiems psichikos sutrikimų, socialinę pagalbą, dalyvauja jų reabilitacijoje.
- Vykdo prevencinę, švietėjišką veiklą bendruomenėje.

Neurologists are highly trained clinicians capable of diagnosing complex conditions through detailed history and physical examination, including testing of mental status, vision, speech, strength, sensation, coordination, reflexes, and gait. Even as medicine becomes more dependent on technology, the neurological exam will remain a critical component of the patient evaluation.
